Amber Smith Favourites

Amber Smith on Rita Hello

Ok, so this will make my next face to face with Amber super weird, but I’m a massive fan girl when it comes to her work. Always have been always will be. I started out this post with the intention of picking my favourites from her collection of works. How incredibly silly of me, after adding almost all of her work I realised this would be a looooooong post! So I decided on limiting it to some of her latest originals. Her latest contribution to the Stellar group exhibition at Salon91 was shall I say…stellar. I’ve seen Amber Smith on campus when she started first year, admired her work during student exhibitions at Open Window and then had the pleasure of following what she got up to after school. What I’ve always admired is how unique her work is and remains amidst the flurry of illustration trends that hit ever so often. Her work has always been positively ‘Amber-esque’ with its charming wackiness and awesome humour. Have a scroll through her work and go have a look at her portfolio on Behance for some more of her work, but before you so open this super Boogie Mixtape she put together in a new tab and  turn up the volume. Happy browsing.
